My top goal for this blog is that it be encouraging to my readers.
Here are some topics I’m interested in right now in this season of life:

  • Photography (specifically my personal slow-growing business.🤔)
  • Life (this is a lifestyle blog, after all.)
  • Personal struggles (there will be stories. And awkward stories.😂)
  • Funny & potentially relatable stories (life is the biggest thing we all share around the world.)

25 Facts About Me

Lifestyle, trivial, ukblogger, ukbloggers

Hello everyone.

After reading Katie’s 25 More Facts About Me post over on Katie’s Sanctuary Blog (one of my favourite blogs by the way) I felt inspired to do a similar post myself because it was something I found really interesting and enjoyable to read. I mean, I’ve always thought of doing a 25 facts about me post but I was never sure whether to or not, but lets face it, we all love to have a little nose into other peoples lives don’t we? And we all love to talk about ourselves… whether we’ll admit to it or not so really, this post is a win/win for everyone involved. I get to embrace my inner narcissist and ramble on about me, and you guys get to have a nosey. Perfect!

a friendly introduction

From the Land of Anne

Well, it took me a year to get the balls to finally start writing this…

I always wanted to be a writer, or really just be smart enough to write; however, time flies by when your taking naps, taking care of kids, taking more naps, and occasionally travelling.

The funny thing is, when people see you online, they think of how amazing your life is. What they don’t see is the mental breakdowns, complete confusion, and really every obstacle you had to face in order to get to that “perfect” place in life.

So, this is the intro to my blog… to be honest I’m not sure what I want to talk about on here. Pretty much anything I want and anything that happens in my life, because if you know me, you know my life is a fucking whirlwind of bat-shit crazy.

So welcome to my world and I…

Citizen of the World

April 22nd 2019, between Moscow and Tokyo.

Okay, it’s blogging time. After a recovery period (quitting my job, leaving my apartment, etc.) and a solo trip-test to Cambodia, I finally took that one way ticket: Paris-Tokyo, Monday April 22nd, 380 EUR, let’s get started.

This is not a diary, neither a travel newsletter. It’s a connection between you and me. A virtual connection but I truly believe it can get deeper than a physical one…

After finding myself deep down in a hole, I decided that I wanted to rebuild myself out of the World I was conditioned to be living in. I want to build a better version of myself, out of my current comfort zone and through experience that I truly want to live.

Nara (Japan) – May 2019

By solo travelling, I hope to connect with people I was never supposed to meet if I stayed in…

You may have already noticed how this blog is changing. While it may have seemed abrupt, it’s actually something I’ve been thinking about for a while. I wasn’t excited to write and now I am. I found what matters to me, not that what I used to write about didn’t matter to me, I’ve just refocused on something else. The break I took and lack of motivation made me realize how important writing about what matters to you is.

The “about me”.

About me, family, life blog, lifestyle, new blog

Dreaming of calm

Yes, I know its generic and played out but everyone has to do the typical “about me” post and I’m no different.

This is my first time ever doing anything like this and I’m very excited to share the craziness that is my every day life with all of you.

So, I figured we would start off by me telling you guys a little about me and what I would like to do with this blog. I’m a married mother of four (pictured above) trying to survive the day to day shenanigans of my rambunctious children on a day to day basis. So a lot of this blog will be about the daily things we go through. However it will also be fun recipes, some diy tutorials (as they come up), and my journey to attempt to better myself.

This is actually one of the things I am hoping will…
