Hello everyone.

After reading Katie’s 25 More Facts About Me post over on Katie’s Sanctuary Blog (one of my favourite blogs by the way) I felt inspired to do a similar post myself because it was something I found really interesting and enjoyable to read. I mean, I’ve always thought of doing a 25 facts about me post but I was never sure whether to or not, but lets face it, we all love to have a little nose into other peoples lives don’t we? And we all love to talk about ourselves… whether we’ll admit to it or not so really, this post is a win/win for everyone involved. I get to embrace my inner narcissist and ramble on about me, and you guys get to have a nosey. Perfect!

1. I moved to Menorca when I was 16 years old with my parents and we lived there for…

Healing Journey

When I say I’m healing, I mean

I am UNLEARNING the things I’ve learned from wounded people

I am healing years of limiting beliefs

I am healing anxiety and depression

I am healing negative thought patterns

I am healing my gut and my liver

I am healing my relationship with myself

I am healing past relationship trauma

I am detoxing massive amounts of toxins from my body

I am healing from the 20+years of social programming

I am healing ancestral trauma

I am rewiring and reframing my entire life into how I want it to be, not what anyone else tells me it should be or can be because what I’ve been told is just a reflection of what those people CHOSE to believe, that has nothing to do with me

Once you give yourself permission to let go of what you’ve always thought to be “truth”, you’re then able…

Halloween with Becca

Family, Grief, Happiness, Loss, Love, Sorrow

Winter in Derenemyn

This is the sixth chapter of the as-yet untitled (suggestions welcome) love story that Julienne and I lived. In case this is your first time, a) I’m sorry and b) the other chapters are listed below in case you’d like them in chronological order.

Chapter 1 – Meeting Julienne

Chapter 2 – Finding Julienne

Chapter 3 – A Kiss, and a Confession

Chapter 4 – Of Spaniel Day Lewis, Parents, and Dothraki Love Nests

Chapter 5 – Brioche French Toast

(A brief note before we get started. I indicated in yesterday’s post that the last bunch of days have been very hard. That hasn’t changed. I’m hoping that I can not only write this, but that I can feel a little better by doing so. It may be a fool’s errand on both fronts, but I’m going to try.)

Halloween season, I would come to learn, starts in February…

It Took Chemo To Slow Me Down

Leave The Light On

I have wanted to write. So many ideas have flittered through my head. I desperately try to hold onto the thoughts, so many I believe to be a great blog post. Unfortunately these thoughts come while driving to or from somewhere, in the middle of a project, wherever that is not near my computer to hash out immediately through the keys. So many thoughts lost to my sieve of a short term memory. My memory has never been super spectacular but since chemo brain has started my short term memory has not been great. I have this towering fear envelope me whenever I get a good idea, the fear of losing that thought. It feels like trying to catch a butterfly with a net. Sometimes I get lucky and snare the thought and sometimes it flitters off, maybe to be seen again and maybe not.

There were no grand ideas…

The “about me”.

About me, family, life blog, lifestyle, new blog

Dreaming of calm

Yes, I know its generic and played out but everyone has to do the typical “about me” post and I’m no different.

This is my first time ever doing anything like this and I’m very excited to share the craziness that is my every day life with all of you.

So, I figured we would start off by me telling you guys a little about me and what I would like to do with this blog. I’m a married mother of four (pictured above) trying to survive the day to day shenanigans of my rambunctious children on a day to day basis. So a lot of this blog will be about the daily things we go through. However it will also be fun recipes, some diy tutorials (as they come up), and my journey to attempt to better myself.

This is actually one of the things I am hoping will…

Embracing Bliss

Lifestyle

Hello and welcome! My name is Haley and I’m from Arkansas.I recently started this blog with a different hosting site but decided that I enjoyed the ease of WordPress better. I’ve posted many blog posts today in the process of transferring my other site over to this platform. So today I will tell you a little about myself and why I decided to start the blog Embracing Bliss. I’ve had a blog before, but never really got into it and the format just wasn’t what I wanted. So I decided to start over from scratch!

About Me:
I am 24 years old, and I live in Arkansas with my firefighter husband and our four fur children. We have two labs, a great dane, and a cat. Crazy right?! On April 14th of this year we celebrated one year of marriage. I love doing life with my husband!
