Sometimes I Write

Okay so a couple of months ago an article I wrote was published by The Uni Bubble. Back then I was in the middle of a (long term) blogging hiatus, but now that I’m back I’ve decided to repost it on my own blog. I’ll leave the link to the original article at the bottom. Enjoy!

Social media is supposed to be a positive haven where you can connect with people who share the same interests, expand your knowledge, and stay up to date with everything that’s going on in the world; so why is it still so frowned upon? Why do people roll their eyes at excessive posting and view their social media addicted peers…

Have you ever wondered what most of the great bloggers have in common?

The thought probably never crossed your mind.

But, I have (I have an inquisitive mind; which causes me to go searching for answers).

Also, I have been blogging for many years and during that time, I have paid close attention to patterns — the various types of things that make bloggers standout from their peers.

And, without further ado, I am going to share them with you.

The Bashful Brunette

Happy Valentines Day girl!

If there is one thing that female bloggers/vloggers/any other ‘ggers on the internet love on Valentines Day more than the cheesy excuse for fancy gifts, it’s telling single people that you don’t need a man to treat you, just treat yourself. However, we’ve tried the whole ‘buy yourself overpriced chocolate bars because society tells you to’ year after year after year. Life From A.N.Z

I am usually compelled to write. Something will happen in my daily life, a news article or a debate will spark my attention, I will try out a new recipe, or find some awesome life hack and I will want to share it. Today though I am compelled to write about religion. After reading so many different viewpoints and hearing so many hateful things for and against religion for many months my heart and head are screaming for me to add to the discussion. So here it goes.

I am Christian. I believe in God and his son Jesus Christ. I struggle to always believe in Jesus, but my faith in the Lord is unwavering. I have attended and been a part of many different sects of Christianity. I have been involved in the Catholic Church, I regularly attended a Lutheran Church, I frequented a very southern church growing up…

The main reason I decided to open up on a blog was, well, mainly because I cant write music, so I had to find a way to express certain things. My passion has always been to write, it doesn’t even matter what about. I just love getting lost in my thoughts, writing, singing and listening to music.. Words are powerful, so when I hear someone say “word is bond” I feel it like no other. I remember in school, I’d often be asked to write essays about the most ridiculous topics, and I could seriously do it with ease. An example.. would be writing about how you make your PB&J sammy.. I have this very convincing side to me. It’s crazy. I have like 10 draft rhymes/songs on my phone. Just because I can, just because it crossed my mind.

The BigComfyBlog was made for my own enjoyment of writing…
