Embracing Bliss

Lifestyle

Hello and welcome! My name is Haley and I’m from Arkansas.I recently started this blog with a different hosting site but decided that I enjoyed the ease of WordPress better. I’ve posted many blog posts today in the process of transferring my other site over to this platform. So today I will tell you a little about myself and why I decided to start the blog Embracing Bliss. I’ve had a blog before, but never really got into it and the format just wasn’t what I wanted. So I decided to start over from scratch!

About Me:
I am 24 years old, and I live in Arkansas with my firefighter husband and our four fur children. We have two labs, a great dane, and a cat. Crazy right?! On April 14th of this year we celebrated one year of marriage. I love doing life with my husband!

Have you ever wondered what most of the great bloggers have in common?

The thought probably never crossed your mind.

But, I have (I have an inquisitive mind; which causes me to go searching for answers).

Also, I have been blogging for many years and during that time, I have paid close attention to patterns — the various types of things that make bloggers standout from their peers.

And, without further ado, I am going to share them with you.

I hate technology. So naturally I created a blog.

Creativity, Healing, Humor, Technology, Transitions

Katrina Freitag

If I had it my way I would be running around the world without having to abide by intentions or boundaries. As beautiful as my mind is, it has created dis-ease for me most of my life without me realizing it. Now, I am trying on the understanding that my mind and all its creativity is here to work with me for the purpose of my soul’s greatest desire for expression. I’m writing this blog because I don’t know what else to do right now, because every time I have and idea and am ready to get jamming my body is like HAHA PSYCH! (Chronic illness is really fun.) I wanna scream at my Mr. Miyagi soul, telling my inner grasshopper to be patient so I don’t keep jumping around the field until I get chopped up by a weed wacker. This almost happened on several occasions before I learned how…

School pick up

How can I be so normal

Children grow up, they become independent and the last thing they want is, Mom waiting eagerly for them to come out at the end of school , especially boys . I have loved picking my kids up from school but they are older now and enjoy coming on the bus and I get to enjoy some me time. Some days I get a chance when there is after school activities. I definitely don’t mind, in-fact love to do the school pick up. Again a secret pleasure which can’t be exhibited.

Sitting in the car park, waiting for the bell to go and then this whole crowd of kids come out. Every car has an anxious parent or grandparent either texting or watching out – in case the child misses the car. It is chaotic but wonderful to see happy children bouncing away. Happy teachers too. Traffic is chaotic but you…

Often people take pictures in a beautiful cafe, laptop on the table, side coffee with their name underlined on the cupperfect shot (smiles).

However in reality this is where my blogging gets done. I’m either sitting on this bench or walking around the park, writing my thoughts in my notes on my phone. My motivation to blog comes from being in nature. When i go on my morning walks I become this “Creative Being” and so many ideas come to my mind. So i thought to myself if I become creative in nature, why not start blogging in nature and that’s what I did. I started blogging in the one place where I find peace and comfort to be alone with my thoughts.

Thanks for reading now you know where all the hard work comes from and where all my creative ideas…

I’m pretty sure everyone had a weird experience at least once in their blogging journey whether it was on social media or on their blogs. Small things like these are very common in the blogging industry and it happens to everyone but today I wanted to share with you some bizarre things that happened to me. Some of these things happened when I first started blogging that’s the reason why I feel comfortable sharing them now lol!

Of course, the main reason why I wanted to share them is to let you know that these things happen so don’t feel scared. If you’ve experienced anything similar, know that you are not alone in this situation. (Plus I wanted…
