Happy Valentines Day girl!

If there is one thing that female bloggers/vloggers/any other ‘ggers on the internet love on Valentines Day more than the cheesy excuse for fancy gifts, it’s telling single people that you don’t need a man to treat you, just treat yourself. However, we’ve tried the whole ‘buy yourself overpriced chocolate bars because society tells you to’ year after year after year. Don’t you think it’s time to try something new?

Today, I’m going to share a few of the things I like to do to treat my soul. Bleh, I know that sounded cheesy – but when you’re in the midst of your busy lifestyle it is easy to let yourself fall out of sync with the little things that make you happy.

Every day of our lives brings something different. We don’t know what awaits us around the corner or what we’ll go through. So here it goes.

I am Christian. I believe in God and his son Jesus Christ. I struggle to always believe in Jesus, but my faith in the Lord is unwavering. I have attended and been a part of many different sects of Christianity. I have been involved in the Catholic Church, I regularly attended a Lutheran Church, I frequented a very southern church growing up…

I made a big decision last week. Well, it wasn’t a huge life-changing decision, rather, I didn’t think it would be. I’ll just cut to the point, shall I?

I cut off my hair!

Technically, the hairdresser cut off my hair, but you get the point. I told my parents last week that I wanted to have a hair cut and then I talked to my mum about it for a while because my hair is thick, curly and… unpredictable. After some research into how I would tame my hair, I decided that I definitely wanted to go ahead with the cut. I just didn’t see the point in wondering how it would look for ages and then not doing anything. I then had a wild thought. I could donate my hair. I told my mum and she immediately set up a fundraiser page and booked for the hairdresser to…
