It’s crazy to see how the author in one journal is different and grown into the author of a different one

As I’m going through different journals in this process, the expectation to decorate each page has grown. Sometimes I don’t document my day or my feelings because it looks plain. Just simply words scribbled on the page don’t seem adequate, or enough. However, I’m learning to accept that my words are enough. My thoughts, feelings, “boring” experiences, and everything in between are worth writing about. And maybe some may disagree with the amount of fluff or unsubstantial content scrawled throughout the pages, but it’s my life. I’m currently in the process of loving all aspects of my life, and I don’t want to forget any of it.

I like the middle, the in between, the part after the beginning and before the end

And writing feels like life. The more I learn about life, the more I realize the most important feeling is the feeling of connection: connection to spirit, connection to humanity, connection to nature, connection to the universe, and connection to God/Source. And putting words on a page helps me feel connected.
